At Dene Academy, we are always looking to create links and build relationships with local and regional businesses to engage our pupils in their careers’ provision. The expertise, information, enthusiasm and experiences that you can provide for our pupils is invaluable and can really help to inspire our pupils, to make informed decisions about their future.

How could your business support our pupils at Dene Academy?

• Provide experiences of work places – this could: be one off visits or activity taster days.
• Offer in school sessions for students for example: talks, assemblies, presentations, workshops or mentoring.
• Participate in parents’ evenings, mock interview days or careers.
• Ask employees/apprentices to share their experiences of the workplace and how to get into your industry.
• Support our curriculum by linking bringing industry expertise into the classroom.
• Attend or run after school clubs.
